London’s culinary scene is known for its diverse offerings, and among the rising stars is Bursa Kebap Evi, a Turkish gem that has taken the city by storm. Their breakfast spread is creating waves and enticing food enthusiasts from all corners. Join us as we dive into the culinary paradise that is Bursa Kebap Evi, where an authentic Turkish breakfast awaits you, all under £15 per person (if you order the breakfast for 2)!
A Turkish Breakfast Feast
Bursa Kebap Evi has perfected the art of a Turkish breakfast, offering a delightful spread that captures the essence of traditional Turkish flavours. The Breakfast for Two package is a true culinary adventure, featuring an array of mouthwatering small plates and dishes that promise to tantalise your taste buds.
The Ultimate Breakfast Duo: Menemen Eggs and More
Start your breakfast journey with the classic Menemen eggs in rich tomato sauce (which tasted more like shakshuka to be honest than a typical menemen), a dish beloved by locals and visitors alike. Alongside this, savour Turkish sausages bursting with flavour, grilled halloumi that’s crispy on the outside and delightfully gooey on the inside, and a selection of cheeses that cater to a range of palates.
Exquisite Bites and Accompaniments
The breakfast spread at Bursa Kebap Evi isn’t just about quantity; it’s about quality and diversity. Savour the sigara borek, a delicate pastry filled with savoury goodness and paired with cherry jam—a combination that might just surprise and delight you (I don’t think this is an authentic combo, just my own experiment). The spread also includes a medley of jams, tahini, date molasses, honey, Turkish double cream (kaymak), olives, and a refreshing cucumber and tomato salad. The thing I love about such spreads is the freedom to be as creative with the combos as you like. Every bite can be a new and different experience and sensation. You got your classic kaymak and honey to the more creative combo of a sigara borek with cherry jam.
Freshness and Refinement
The breakfast experience is elevated by the inclusion of fruits, Simit (a Turkish bread ring coated in sesame seeds), and freshly made bread. What’s more, the bread basket is continuously replenished, ensuring you can enjoy the sumptuous spreads to the fullest.
Turkish Tea: The Perfect Companion
No Turkish breakfast is complete without a pot of fragrant Turkish tea. At Bursa Kebap Evi, you’ll be treated to a pot of this traditional brew, perfect for sharing and sipping as you immerse yourself in the flavours of Turkey.
Trending and Timeless
Bursa Kebap Evi’s reputation for an outstanding breakfast spread is well-deserved. With their original branch in Iraq, their success in London comes as no surprise. The queues that form outside their doors each day speak volumes about the authenticity and quality of their offerings.

The Verdict: A Memorable Culinary Experience
Our visit to Bursa Kebap Evi left us craving for more. From the delectable Menemen eggs to the creative bites like sigara borek with cherry jam, every dish was a celebration of Turkish flavours. The meze platter (including acili ezme, baba ghanoush, cacik and hummus), lahmacun, and pide (extras that we tried that aren’t part of the breakfast spread) further solidified the restaurant’s commitment to culinary excellence. The quality of the individual ingredient and the end product was sublime. The breakfast spread for 2 is just under £30 making it under £15 per person, but they also do a breakfast for 1 and it is priced at £17 where you got smaller portions of the above.
Bursa Kebap Evi is a shining star in London’s culinary landscape, offering an authentic Turkish breakfast that’s both tantalising and affordable. Whether you’re a seasoned lover of Turkish cuisine or a curious food enthusiast eager to explore new flavours, the Breakfast for Two package promises an unforgettable experience that showcases the rich tapestry of Turkish flavours. Head to Bursa Kebap Evi for a taste of Turkey’s culinary heritage without breaking the bank—your taste buds will thank you!
