I wanted to try their award winning wings, but they were sold out! Is it just me or does anyone else get really down when you look forward to something, but then it’s not available. Anywho… so we went ahead and ordered their chicken burger and it was actually pretty good. A good solid chicken burger. Nothing outstanding or worthy enough to get you back in, but enough to satisfy a craving. I still want to try them wings though.
Since then, one of my followers and giveaway winners @thatsameer from instagram has followed my recommendation and tried out Thunderbird. And here is his review on the famous wings.
“The wings: Okay these are really good. They have a crunch, are meaty, the Chipuffalo sauce is great. Does remind you a bit of the normal buffalo sauce flavour but with a small twist. I think they are great. Had some spare wings so I took them home to my dad and he said it’s the best wings he’s had.
The wings are so good in fact I went back to the office today and found out there’s also a Thunderbirds in the O2. Guess what I had for lunch… the wings! And I have been numerous times since”

Back to my question – is this the best chicken burger in Westfield London? (Yes, I know Popeye’s is in the building!) I can’t say really as I haven’t tried enough out yet. But it’s a decent spot for a mid-shopping break.
