A photo dump of Agadir, the beach town of Morocco. Also a little history lesson and other things to do and see.
Agadir: photo dump of Moroccan beach town

Agadir is a city in south Morocco. And the best views of it can be seen from what actually used to be the city itself! In 1960 an earthquake hit Agadir and completely destroyed the historic city. Killing 12,000 people, it left the city and country devastated. The seaside town we see now known as Agadir was only born a few decades ago. Amazing to see how far they’ve come. Standing atop these historic ruins and just overlooking the city, you experience both the sad past and the inspiring present.
